Storioni Festival
'The Storioni Trio is the flagship of Dutch culture' (NRC Handelsblad). This pianotrio, that has its origins in the Brabant region, and Muziekcentrum Frits Philips have together taken the initiative for a new chamber music festival.
The music programming for this musical feast came about in close cooperation between the Artistic Manager of the Muziekcentrum, Frank Veenstra, and the members of the Storioni Trio. A number of internationally renowned musicians take part in the festival.
'After years where the trio has brought very succesful programmes in the Muziekcentrum, we both felt it was time to bring the cooperation to a higher level', says Frank Veenstra. 'A festival proved to be a viable option.'
